BBF's Easter Bakes
The ambient cake and dessert manufacturer has teamed up with retailer Asda to release two new cakes for Brits to enjoy over Easter.
The limited edition Chick Cake Jar is, as the name says, packed in a jar, with layers of tangy lemon curd, crunchy sugar sprinkles, sweet vanilla frosting and madeira sponge topped with an edible chick face.
BBF has also created a Chick Cake, a soft madeira sponge filled with sweet plum and raspberry jam and delicious buttercream. The sponge is covered with soft icing and finished with edible decorations.
“Creating new and exciting products is what BBF is all about, and we are confident that these new bakes will bring joy to many households across the nation,” said Jonathan Lill, CEO of BBF.
“As we finally leave the winter months behind us, spring brings garden parties and family get togethers, which just wouldn’t be complete without a sweet treat on the table.”
The cheerful duo is now available in Asda stores nationwide for an RRP of £3.50 for the Chick Cake Jar (serves two) and £7 for the Chick Cake (serves eight).
BBF also manufactures an extensive range of ambient cake products across several different categories including celebration cakes, fruit pies and tarts, chocolate enrobed cakes, Christmas cakes and mince pies. The baker produces more than 600 million cakes and desserts annually.
