Sonoco’s two fastest growing businesses in 2014 were display and packaging and flexible packaging, which both grew sales by about 6% due to volume gains, the company said at its Annual Shareholders Meeting this month.
Extruded snack makers are using low output machines to run R&D tests in-house and many are working to develop healthier variants and inventive shapes, say equipment suppliers.
