Danisco gets into gum

Danisco has made inroads into the xanthan gum market this week, linking up with one of the largest suppliers in China, the Henan Tianguan group.

Can-Pack opens factory in Ukraine

Polish packaging provider, Can-Pack, has confirmed the opening of an aluminium can factory in Ukraine. The opening is in line with the company's intentions to expand into the Eastern European market.

New plant for Russian brewer

Furthering its ambitious expansion plans, Russian restaurant and brewery group Tinkoff has announced that together with leading German brewer Krones it is to build a $75 million brewery near St. Petersburg.
