The Mondelez brand has officially announced the return of one of its fan-favourite flavours, just in time for the carnival season.
And what pairs better with warm breeze than the iconic flavours of cotton candy?
It’s been nearly a decade since the whimsical flavour was last seen on shelves, but thanks to consumer demand, Oreo Cotton Candy Sandwich Cookies are making a comeback. Inspired by the spun sugar confection that resembles cotton - also known as fairy floss - the cookie features a golden Oreo based double stuffed with pink and blue cotton candy-flavoured crème.
But be sure to be first in line, as the rollout is a limited edition offer (LTO).
Available wherever Oreo is sold, while supplies last.
The UK keto-friendly brand has launched a hotdog roll that has all the taste and texture of the traditional sausage carrier but with an impressive protein count and only a fraction of the carbs.
“By utilising the enviable protein prowess of egg, pea protein and wheat gluten, we’ve managed to create a BBQ ready roll that offers only a miserly 1.3 carbs per roll - which is significantly less (90%) than their everyday alternatives,” said SRSLY founder Andy Welch.
“Better than that, each rolls offers 12g of protein, which is 170% more protein and 400% more fibre than a typical off-the-shelf bready hotdog holder.”
The new addition to the brand’s portfolio - which includes wraps, bread, seeded rolls, pizza, hot cross buns and more - was developed to cater with consumer demand.
According to Welch, who has traversed the UK to talk to both committed keto diehards and new converts, “conversations consistently turned to us creating hot dog rolls that are not only immeasurably healthier but keep you fuller-for-longer.
“We’re proud to have a created yet another superb bready alternative that over-indexes in taste without causing the sugar crash so commonly associated with everyday white bread offerings.”
The brand was born when keto enthusiast Andy Welch discovered it was difficult to stick to his low carb diet while indulging in his appreciation of amazing bread. Unable to find anything to curb those niggling cravings for buttery toasted doorsteps, SRSLY set about creating the last word in low carb artisanal loaves. Having spent the past two years establishing SRSLY as Amazon’s leading provider of high protein/low carb bread, the keto-centric bread provider is now raising funds to take the major multiples and foodservice by storm.
SRSLY products are available online for £3.99 (4 x 50g rolls).

Move over Magnum, there’s a new snack in town.
Pukpip is going bananas over a new listing win with Whole Foods Market, just in time for ice cream season.
The brand is also challenging the traditional ice cream category by tapping into the rise of permissible yet indulgent frozen fruit snacks.
“Whole Foods Market is the perfect fit for Pukpip, as we strive to help people eat more fruit in fun, delicious and convenient ways, providing indulgent fruit snacks that don’t compromise on taste,” said Zara Godfrey, Pukpip’s MD.
The London retailer has added Pukpip’s Milk and Dark Chocolate Dipped Bananas to its frozen section in all seven stores. The snack comes in at only 152-161 calories each and contain absolutely nothing artificial.
Pukpip uses bananas that are responsibly sourced from Ecuador. Using wonky bananas rejected from export - due to small imperfections, the wrong shape or size or simply because there are too many on a bunch - they are freshly frozen at source before being smothered in chocolate. The peels are upcycled back into the ecosystem.
“Nine out of 10 of us are looking to add more fruit into our diet, and we want to make it easy, fun and delicious,” said Godfrey.
“The creaminess of a frozen banana combined with smooth satisfying chocolate makes for an irresistible treat that consumers will be keen to get their hands on this summer. Real fruit that’s indulgent so consumers can feel good about treating themselves.”
Pukpip’s frozen bananas are available in multipacks of 3 at an RRP of £3.99.
The thoroughly modern Italian brand has launched its Italian Apricot Crostata tartlets exclusively in Waitrose.
Crosta & Mollica directly translates to ‘crust & crumb’, reflecting the brand’s origin in the bakery sector 13 years ago. The tartlets are made in Italy using pasta frolla, a flaky Italian pastry. This forms a buttery crust for a layer of apricot conserve, which is topped with the signature criss-crossed patterned pastry and baked until golden.
The Apricot Crostata joins the brand’s sweet baked products like Mini Panettone and Chocolate & Hazelnut Cornetti, which sit alongside its savoury range, including Pane Pugliese, focaccia, panini and piadinas.
Crosta & Mollica Apricot Crostata is available in Waitrose for an RRP £3.50 4x40g.

The bakery moved from East London to Exeter in 2021 where it now houses a shop front and continues to send bakes across the country.
The UK’s leading organic flour brand has secured its first retail listing in Waitrose for its range of baking aids, including bicarb of soda, baking powder and cornflour.
Research carried out by Doves Farm found that 76% of the brand’s shoppers consider the aids as ‘the perfect complement’ to Doves Farm organic flours and ‘make up a complete kit for home baking’.
The baking powder (130g) is a classic raising agent, perfect for mixing with plain flour when making cakes, scones and puddings. Bicarbonate of soda (200g) can be used for making soda breads and raising cakes, scones and pancakes with acidic ingredients. The cornflour (110g) - made from organically grown corn starch - can used for thickening sauces, making cakes and lightening the texture of baking.
The products are also all suitable for vegans and are Kosher and Coeliac UK certified.
“There is currently no baking aid range offered in retail by a premium flour brand, and with a growing number of customers looking for high quality, trusted baking ingredients, we are excited to be partnering with Waitrose & Partners to launch Doves Farm Baking Aids into stores,” said Clare Marriage, Doves Farm founder.
“The Doves Farm brand is already in 1.5m+ homes, and we know our organic flour range is respected and trusted for its quality - so the products in the Baking Aids range are certain to prove popular with flour shoppers looking to enhance their home baking.”
Doves Farm has 24 different flours in its range, offering options for traditional home baking, including plain white, plain wholemeal, bread flour and pasta flour. It is also leading the way in introducing ancient grains back to the UK, with distinct flours such as Einkorn, Emmer, Spelt, Rye and Khorasan, which offer bakers the chance to discover flavours, crumb textures and baking traditions from the past. Doves Farm also offers the more adventurous baker a Speciality Flour range featuring Teff and Coconuts Flours, as well as its best-selling Oat Flour.
Nostalgia is having its moment and Pop-Tarts is making sure it’s getting in on the trend with its LTO Pop-Tarts Throwback Packs.
