The bakery specialist has appointed Dan Parkin as finance & IT director; Stephen Tutt as director of Supply Chain; Andrew Dinsdale as director of Sales for the UK and Brian Hunnikin as director of Manufacturing and Engineering.
An operating division of Associated British Foods (ABF) and formed from the merger of Cereform, Mauri Products and Gb Plange UK, AB Mauri produces a comprehensive range of technical bakery ingredients and yeast products.
“Over the last 20 plus years, our dedication to supporting the bakery industry has enabled us to grow, forming the leading bakery ingredients supplier business in the UK and Ireland, a position we never take for granted,” said Andy Pollard, MD of AB Mauri.

The new appointments
Dan Parkin joins the Executive board following an extensive career within the Associated British Foods group, including British Sugar, AB Agri and the Weston Centre.

Tutt comes on board with over 30 years of experience in agriculture, food service and food manufacturing, including roles in Dalgety, Kerry, Scottish & Newcastle and Westmill Foods.
Dinsdale’s role as director of UK sales includes leading the PureCraft team and overseeing the commercial success of the company’s new premium bakery mixes brand. His bakery journey started in 1989 with a baking course at Monkwearmouth college and includes stints at RHM technology, Rank Hovis, British Bakels and Novozymes.
“Over the years, AB Mauri has delivered new technology and pushed the boundaries to make a difference in product and ingredient technology,” said Dinsdale.
“My focus is to build and lead a commercial team that will evolve with the changing environment and evolution of the industry we serve.”
Brian Hunnikin has been tasked with specific responsibility for AB Mauri’s Northampton, Corby, Royston and Gainsborough sites, with the goal of ensuring their status as world leading manufacturing plants. He comes on board following a career spanning Unilever, Walkers Snacks, Mars, Weetabix, and 9 years at Princes Foods.
