Entemann’s Minis has launched its annual sweepstake to encourage Americans to spread random acts of kindness.

According to the Bimbo Bakeries USA brand (the North American arm of Mexican bakery giant Grupo Bimbo), small acts of kindness leave behind a significant impact, and are more essential than ever before.

To help its fans to make the world a better place, Entemann’s is again rolling out its annual Mini Acts of Kindness initiative, in which the nominated person will get a chance to win one of 5,000 boxes of Minis, a range of perfectly proportioned, individually wrapped pies, cakes and doughnuts.

In addition, one lucky nominator and nominee pair will also win the grand prize of $5,000 each.

And it doesn’t stop there. To sweeten the deal further, for every nomination submitted, Entenmann’s Minis will donate $1 (up to $15,000) to Feeding America, a nonprofit that supports a network of 200 food banks and 60,000 food pantries across the country.

Celebrate the small moments

“We value the idea that even mini acts of kindness can make a big impact,” said Catherine Danielowich, brand manager at Entemann’s.

“We want to celebrate the small moments that make our world a little better by giving our fans another opportunity to brighten someone’s day.

“Last year, more than 137,000 people nominated someone they felt was deserving of a sweet gesture, and we hope to surpass that total this year.”

To enter, fans must nominate a person close to their heart and fill in the entry form on the Mini Acts of Kindness site. Deadline for submissions is 31 March, whereafter, all nominators and their nominees will be entered into the Grand Prize draw.

No purchase is necessary to enter or win, but the sweepstake is only open to US residents who are 18 years or older as of date of entry.
