The UK company has finalised its move into a new site in Nottinghamshire, which centralises its nine production units – including administration, manufacturing and R&D – under one roof. Backed by Ardenton Capital, the investment has also been used to create additional dedicated lines and expand its state-of-the-art Product Development Kitchen at Panattoni Park in Eastwood.
The home baking products specialist has now embarked on an extensive recruitment drive for 10 technical and NPD specialists, with a further 25 roles available in production, ranging from general/skilled operatives to line and area leaders.
Prior experience is not essential as full training is available, with development plans in place across the group’s three sites across the UK, in Burnley, Chapel-en-le-Frith and Notthinham.
“Demand for our range of products has really accelerated during Covid-19 and this prompted the need for a purpose-built central facility in Nottinghamshire that will give us the platform for the next 20 years,” said Jag Sanghera, HR Manager at Food Innovations Baking Group’s Nottingham facility.
“We are looking for anyone with a desire to move into food manufacturing and have a passion to learn and take on new ideas. Training is provided and we also offer lots of softer benefits, such as ice creams when it is hot and pizzas when volumes are met.”
