Manchester-based Kellogg’s has promoted Christopher Hayden-Hayes to oversee its people strategy for the UK and Ireland – the cereal giant’s largest market in Europe – while still retaining HR responsibility for its European IT function.

Hayden-Hayes (32) takes over the role as HR director for UK & Ireland from Chris Jones, who will be stepping into the role of HR director for Continental Europe.

In his new position, Hayden-Hayes will oversee a team of two who are responsible for the execution of people plans for the British and Irish markets and broader colleague base at Kellogg’s headquarters in Manchester.

After gaining a first-class bachelor’s degree in philosophy, religion and ethics from the University of London, Hayden-Hayes started his career with Kellogg’s as a HR administrator. He has subsequently progressed through a number of roles in Kellogg’s HR division, most recently as a senior HR business partner, which saw him support four senior Kellogg’s execs in managing their strategies to lead more than 400 colleagues across Europe.

“I truly believe that at Kellogg’s, our people are our most competitive advantage and I aim to continue to build world-class capabilities, attract and develop top talent and drive meaningful engagement,” said Hayden-Hayes.

“I’m proud to be part of a broader HR function at Kellogg’s that’s recognised for powering commercial growth, creating a cultural legacy and boldly driving change through equity, diversity and inclusion.”
