Wall's Pastry is giving consumers the opportunity to grab a money-can’t-buy experience whilst giving a foot up to the next generation of GB sport stars.

The UK sausage roll producer has teamed up with SportsAid to run an on-pack promotion throughout the summer that sees 50p of every pack of its popular products sold going towards much-needed funding to support deserving young athletes.

The promotion launches on 14 June and runs across Wall’s Jumbo Sausage Roll, 4, 10 and 12 pack Snack Sausage Rolls, Vegan Jumbo Roll, its Chicken and Bacon, Peppered Steak, Chicken Tikka and Chicken and Mushroom slices, as well as its latest Beef Burrito, Chicken Fajita and Chicken Piri-Piri microwave slices.

To thank Brits for their participation, Walls has also arranged for them to be in with chance to win a unique VIP experience at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park for two, with activities such as a diving experience at the London Aquatic Centre with Olympic silver medallist Leon Taylor, a tour of the Olympic Stadium and VIP passes to the Six Day London cycling event - plus Olympian and Paralympian meet and greets.

“Athletes have been incredibly resilient over the past 15 months and are finally starting to be able to train and compete, and this partnership will allow us to support 25 young athletes with much-needed and well-deserved funding,” said Moke Holton, brand manager at Wall’s Pastry.

“The promotion is also a great opportunity for us to provide an amazing and unique tour of the Olympic Park. The past year has also been unprecedented and difficult for many people and with the world starting to return to some form of normality, we can’t wait to provide our customers across the country with an incredibly exciting and well-deserved trip.”

SportsAid is part of the fabric of British sport – recognising and helping an emerging generation of talented young sports people to develop their potential and reach for their personal best.”

SportsAid was founded in 1976 and supports more than 1,000 athletes – typically between 12 and 18-years-old – ever year by providing them with financial awards to cover training and competition costs.

More than £50m has already been distributed, helping the Gret Britain’s brightest sporting prospects to launch their careers.
