Catalina Crunch, one of the fastest growing cereal brands in the US, has inked a partnership with Gopuff, a nationwide digital delivery service that was appealing to consumers’ need for home delivered snacks long before the pandemic.

Gopuff was launched eight years ago by Drexel University sophomores Rafeal Ilishayev and Yakir Gola with the mission to ‘make daily life effortless’ for the modern consumer.

Today, the platform delivers thousands of essential and indulgent products to customers in 650+ cities through approximately 250 micro-fulfilment centres. Orders are accessible through the Gopuff mobile app and online shop.

Catalina Snacks – which uses science and food technology to produce Keto-friendly cereals and snacks that are still focused on taste and texture profiles – joins Gopuff’s growing client list that numbers many of the world’s biggest brands.

Catalina Crunch is already available in over 15,000 retail locations, but the brand wants its most popular variants – Cinnamon Toast, Dark Chocolate, Fruity and peanut Butter Chocolate – available to Americans 24/7. The online platform strives to deliver products to the consumer’s doorstep within 30 minutes.

Natural fit

“We are very excited to be partnering with the Gopuff team to make certain that our products are available to consumers where and when they want them,” said Joel Warady, president of Catalina Snacks.

“As we continue to expand our product availability, it is a natural fit for us to partner with the leader in instant needs. With many individuals still in work-from-home mode, we have seen an incredible shift in consumers eating breakfast foods throughout the day, with cereal leading the pack.

“Naturally, we sought out a solution to make it even easier. We can now be ordered in seconds and delivered in minutes, all through the use of mobile technology.”
