The Movie Night Sweet & Salty Snack Bundle is just one of the curated packs available on BBU's new D2C platform.

Bimbo Bakeries USA (BBU) – a subsidiary of the Mexican bakery giant Grupo Bimbo SAB de CV – has launched a direct-to-consumer platform that delivers BBU brands to the doorsteps of consumers.

According to BBU, the pandemic has created demand for products that offers moments of comfort and indulgence and SweetSnacking.com “is the new fast and easy way to get your family favourites delivered straight to your door.”

BBU is a leader in the baking industry, producing everything from fresh sliced bread, buns, English muffins, and bagels to cookies and snack cakes.

“SweetSnacking.com presents no shortage of snacking options,” said Omar Haque, VP of ecommerce at BBU.

“Whether you prefer sweet, salty or a combination of both, we offer carefully curated, delicious options for the entire family.”

Consumers can select from tailored boxes of varied sizes and combination of the company’s brands, including Entenmann’s, Sara Lee, Thomas’ and Takis. Deliveries are shipped for free and currently available to select ZIP codes within the US.

“We know that our consumers can buy from multiple sources, but with everything that has happened since the beginning of the pandemic, we wanted to take the pressure off any way we could,” added Haque.

“This option ensures that everyone can enjoy the same snacks they’ve known and loved while remaining safe inside.”
