Whisps Cheese Crisps is searching for a new taster to join its Cheese Board as cheese executive officer (CEO).

According to the New York-headquartered snacks producer, the position involves reviewing Whisps snacks for an entire year.

The CEO will receive monthly shipments of Whisps Cheese Crisps, as well as secret flavours, curated cheese boards and even cheese wheels in exchange for quarterly tasting feedback. They will also serve as brand ambassador responsible for “spreading their love of cheese and cheese crisps with their community.”

The board member will receive training from an artisan cheesemonger on tasting techniques and ‘how to better evaluate cheeses’, attend a virtual class about assembling the ultimate charcuterie board. They will also help Whisps brainstorm new product ideas and flavours.

Best of all, the role comes with a $1,500 stipend and $2,000 in cash to use to attend the 2022 World Cheese Championships. The chosen candidate will also receive $1,500 worth of swag and other prizes.

Whisps crafts its cheese snacks in a peanut-free facility in Wisconsin. Its product range currently offers seven flavours of cheese crisps, including the original Parmesan Cheese Crisps and Asiago & Pepper Jack Cheese Crisps. The gluten-free snacks are made with 100% real cheese, are baked, not fried and contain 10+ grams of protein and only 1g of carbs per serving.

Applications to snag the cheese whizz position must be submitted by July 25 (National Wine and Cheese Day).
