Zumbro – headquartered in Albert Lea, Minnesota – specialises in manufacturing agglomerated and extruded products for the food and beverage industry and is a market leader in high protein and specialty extruded snacks, cereals, and crisps, marketed under the brands Z-Crisps, Whey-Os, WheyVs and Z-Texx Complete.

Customised F&B systems
Zumbro will be integrated within Balchem’s Human Nutrition and Health Segment, Balchem’s best performing business that generated sales of $86.1m of the total $158.6m in net sales the company posted for the three months ending September 2019.
The Human Nutrition & Health segment delivers customised food and beverage ingredient systems, as well as key nutrients for a variety of applications.
