To mark Spirit Day (October 17), the breakfast cereal giant, its employees and brands joined millions of consumers in ‘going purple’ to support the LGBTQ youth community – in the largest and most visible anti-bullying campaign in the world.

The breakfast giant has also launched a limited edition creation called All Together Cereal – comprising six of its most beloved cereals – to celebrate its partnership with GLAAD.

The gang’s all here

The All Together Cereal brings together the famous Kellogg mascots and cereals – including Frosted Flakes, Froot Loops, Rice Krispies, Raisin Bran, Frosted Mini-Wheats and Corn Flakes – inside  the same carton as a symbol of acceptance no matter how you look, where you're from or who you love.

“As a new Kellogg employee and Vice President of Talent and Diversity, I'm quickly learning that Kellogg truly is a company with heart and soul,” said Priscilla Koranteng, VO, global talent and chief diversity officer.

“The K Values are part of the company’s DNA and guide the way we do business. These values of integrity, accountability, passion, humility, simplicity and a focus on success play a unique and critical part in the ongoing success of the business.

“We know that both diversity and inclusion are business imperatives: diversity helps us better understand what our diverse consumers want and love, and inclusion helps to bolster employee productivity.”

The All Together cereal encompasses the values of diversity, equality, and solidarity that Spirit Day is all about, and we hope that LGBTQ youth everywhere receive the messages loud and clear – John McCourt, senior director of Development & Integrated Marketing at GLAAD.

“At Kellogg, we are firmly committed to equity and inclusion in the workplace, marketplace and in the communities where we work and live. For more than 100 years, Kellogg has nourished families so they can flourish and thrive, and the company continues to welcome everyone to the table,” added Koranteng.

“All Together Cereal is a symbol of acceptance, no matter how you look, where you're from or who you love.”

Kellogg has also donated $50,000 to support GLAAD’s anti-bullying and LGBTQ advocacy efforts.

GLAAD is an American non-governmental media monitoring organization founded by LGBT people in the media that tackles tough issues to shape the narrative and provoke dialogue that leads to cultural change.

All Together Cereal is available from the company’s online store while stocks last for $19.99.
