The company, based in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, US, develops and manufactures dry mixes for its customers, with a focus on Premium Private Brand initiatives.
Organic
With its latest certificates, and already SQF Level 3 Edition 8 certified, Little Big Farm Foods can now offer a full range of products from conventional to gluten-free and organic.
“Gluten-free and Organic are here to stay. These certifications allow us to serve our customers with innovative, clean label formulations. As private brands continue to grow on the organic and gluten-free shelves, we are proud to be able to partner with our customers to grow both sides of the business,” said Fern Phillips, CEO, Little Big Farm Foods.
“In conjunction with moving to a newly expanded facility in Portsmouth, NH, we now can welcome customers looking for premium products, be they conventional clean label, USDA organic or gluten-free. The facility also allows us to accept co-packing customers.”
Women-owned
Established in 2010, Little Big Farm Foods creates and manufactures premium products and is this year applying for “Women-owned” Certification.
"With 52% of our LLC units owned by women this has been important to me as the company has grown; we have never given up this women-owned edge,” added Phillips.
"I was in the first class of women going through Dartmouth. This certainly steeled me for the corporate world; at Little Big Farm Foods we manage things a little differently such as having monthly employee luncheons and meetings to celebrate birthdays and business successes. Our motto is “Work Hard. Be Kind.”
Little Big Farm Foods has a 24-SKU line of mixes and 6-SKU line of Homestead Baking Co.
