The ‘Hero’ singer has reportedly been offered £9m ($11m) to become the new face of PepsiCo’s Walkers Crisps.

According to media reports, Walkers is planning a festive campaign featuring Mariah singing her hit single ‘All I Want For Christmas.’

The campaign will be pushed across social media, which the brand is hoping will go viral.

Her face will also appear on 50 million packets of crisps (potato chips).

The singer was approached earlier this year, but it is only now going through. ‘Her’ people purportedly are just signing off the details of the contract, including what Mariah will and will not do for the brand.

The UK potato chip brand is used to shelling out big bucks to attract celebs to front its marketing campaigns.

Former UK footballer Gary Lineker has long been the face of Walkers.

The PepsiCo-owned brand also wrote out seven-figure cheques to sign up the Spice Girls earlier this year.

The ‘Viva Forever’ group – minus Victoria Beckham – appeared on UK screens to promote the savory treats for the first time since 1997, when their faces – including Beckham – were featured on the pack.

Mariah Carey is one of the best-selling artists of all time, said to be worth around £244m ($298m).

However, that has not stopped her looking to add to her riches.

In 2015, she appeared in adverts for the online strategy game, Game of War. The star has also signed deals with weight loss company Jenny, Intel, Macy’s – alongside now US president Donald Trump – and Hostelworld, the low-cost student-style accommodation booking site.
