Essentra has launched RE:CLOSE Tapes to meet demand for portion control multi-serving packs to keep snacks or food products in the original packaging between each use.

The user-friendly reclosable packs have been launched across Europe, and maintain freshness, as well as on-pack promotions and campaigns.

Reclosing 10 times

Ian Beresford, head, marketing & development, Essentra Tapes, said the tapes are durable enough to withstand resealing and reclosing up to 10 times.

Our RE:CLOSE Tape allows brands to bring together portion choice with the convenience of reclosing the original pack. They can also carry eye-catching promotions and campaigns within their pack designs,” he said.

Beresford said it had already received interest from a number of snack brands across Europe and overseas.

Finger-lift

The resealable tape incorporates an easy-to-use finger lift area that runs along both sides of its length, making it simple to lift away from the pack.

The user-friendly design of RE:CLOSE also features step-by-step instructions on how to use the reclosing functionality and is easily applied to production lines through its linerless technology and range of applicators with end-to-end support.

Headquartered in the UK, Essentra employs over 5,000 employees, supplying products to 29 countries and has 42 manufacturing facilities, 64 sales & distribution operations and five research & development centers.
