Colpac has unveiled a range of children’s packaging with ‘friendly’ monster designs, space aliens and themes, such as Jungle Lion & His Friends, with texture, such as fur, whiskers and scales.

The packaging has been redesigned for meal boxes, scoops for chips, crisps (potato chips), lap trays and smaller cartons for fruit and sweet treats.

As well as launching a Party & Gift brochure 2019 for smaller items, such as chocolates or favors for corporate events, Colpac will be launching seasonal ranges to cater to growing consumer demand for Easter, Halloween and Christmas Party & Gifts.

Dave Robins, product manager, Colpac, said the developments follow research with children aged between 5 and 11 to ensure its party offering is keeping up with current trends.

Our Party & Gift range is purchased by theme parks, garden centres, wildlife parks as well as party distributors, so it is vital our ranges are appealing and up to date,” he said.

To attract children aged 8 and above, Colpac redesigned its Dinosaur range, switching its cartoon drawings with ‘real life images’ in bold, vibrant colors.

It is the first time the company has launched a 42-page brochure dedicated to the party and gift industry with over 150 styles. Some of the packaging includes puzzles, color books and crayons.
