Mecatherm, which makes production lines for the industrial bakery sector, has received an Innovation Award for its M-TA oven, at IBA in Munich.

The prizewinners were announced live at the trade fair during a ceremony that took place last week (September 17).

"As a French company, and the only French prizewinner among the competing candidates, we are extremely honoured and proud to have received this award,” said Olivier Sergent, president, Mecatherm.

We work to innovate every day to make the lives of our industrial customers easier and help them develop their production according to market demand. It was precisely with this in mind that we developed the M-TA oven which, I am convinced, will provide our customers with the agility they require."

M-TA is a tunnel oven, which comprises compact heating modules that work independently, and can combine radiant heat and convection, based on six variants, for optimal management of a large baking curve.

This system has a patented mobile hearth system with energy transfer methods at the bottom and top, in each area of the oven, to produce distinctive products.

The oven is ideal for breads, sweet goods and snacks.
