Eagle Product Inspection to debut EPX100 x-ray inspection system

Eagle Product Inspection will debut its EPX100 x-ray system for food and packaged goods at Anuga FoodTec 2018, (March 20-23) in Cologne, Germany.

Suitable for bakery, confectionery, produce, ready meals and snacks, the EPX100 utilizes Eagle's x-ray technology to detect and automatically reject contaminants including glass shards, metal fragments, mineral stones, plastic, rubber compounds and calcified bones.

The system inspects products in cartons, plastic containers and pouches, among other formats.

Our experts designed this system as a mainstream tool that is safe, simple and smart for small and mid-sized operators as well as global companies who want to standardize their detection technology across a variety of products,” said Kyle Thomas, strategic business unit manager, Eagle Product Inspection.

The EPX100 can be deployed quickly, efficiently and easily and in a cost-effective way as manufacturers safeguard their products and brands.”

Eagle’s EPX100 features include; adjustable power settings, low-energy x-ray environment and SimulTask 5 image processing software.
