Coating, laminating, flexo and gravure printing high on the agenda for ICE Europe
The ninth edition of the paper, film and foil converting show in Munich, Germany, (March 10-12) saw 7,040 visitors from 71 countries and 439 exhibitors from 26 countries, a 7% increase in visitor numbers and a 10% increase in exhibitor numbers compare to last year.
“The increase in numbers and exhibitors reflects the positive economic outlook for the converting industry. With a strong focus on future trends, such as value-added products, processing of new materials and energy-saving manufacturing processes,” said Nicola Hamann, MD, Mack Brooks Exhibitions.
International business was high on the agenda of the participating companies, with half of the visitors and 44% of the exhibitors coming from outside Germany.
Major visitor countries, after Germany, were Italy, Austria, Switzerland, France, UK, Poland, the Netherlands, Turkey and Spain.
ICE Europe 2017 will take place from March 21-23 at Munich Trade Fair Centre.
