BakeryandSnacks.com is launching its inaugural Personality of the Year 2014 competition, shooting 10 nominees to shortlist stardom in the coming weeks, alongside its sister sites BeverageDaily.com, ConfectioneryNews.com and DairyReporter.com, which are running respective competitions.
The shortlist will be opened to a public vote for a full month and the winner announced and interviewed in the post-Christmas January 2015 slog. Well, every year should start positively, right?
Calling all talent
Perhaps you’ve published some ground-breaking research on grains or celiac disease or put theory into practice at lab level with a processing trick or machine part?
Maybe you’ve successfully led a team in a new product launch that far exceeded brand expectations or inspired that team to try a different marketing channel in the face of increased competition?
Perhaps you’ve totted up sales above and beyond target, entered into new markets or met with more clients globally than ever before?
Maybe you or a co-worker have been recognized for exceptional ideas or work ethic or been involved in environmental activities to build up corporate status?
Have you achieved something everyone said would be impossible or that even you never believed could happen so fast? Or maybe you have big plans that are bubbling with promise for our sector?
How to apply
If you think you’ve had an exceptional year or are about to have an unforgettable one, let us know. Similarly, if you’re sat next to a budding star or know a disruptive innovator, nominate them!
The BakeryandSnacks.com will be shortlisting entries to provide you with an unforgettable 2014 Personality of the Year line-up on December 1 - you've got two weeks!
The prize? It's top secret but put it this way... it's better than a dusty apron!
Please submit all entries to kacey.culliney@wrbm.com using the title ‘Personality of the Year 2014 Entry’ explaining in no more than 100 words why you or a colleague deserve to be recognized by fellow industry members.
