Avure Technologies, a producer of high-pressure processing equipment for food and beverage, is relocating its headquarters to Cincinnati.
The high-pressure processing firm is expanding to a new location to accommodate demand for the food and beverage production technology.

HPP is growing in popularity among food and beverage processors, with Avure Technologies among the top-selling companies. The company, which develops and manufactures HPP equipment, is shifting its headquarters from Franklin, Tennessee, to Cincinnati, Ohio.

Technology growth

Tim Hunter, head of HPP marketing for Avure, told FoodProductionDaily the headquarters relocation will bring the company’s center closer to its Middletown, Ohio, manufacturing hub, and it will enable Avure to grow its technical resources for current and emerging HPP applications.

With this move, not only will we be closer to our manufacturing facility in Middletown, Ohio, but we will have the opportunity to expand our lab services and test kitchens, as well as house a new state-of-the-art innovation center dedicated to R&D,” he said.

Jeff Williams, CEO of Avure HPP, said the work of staff and firm leaders can take a bow for the company’s recent record of success.

We’ve made significant strides over the past few years to build upon our leadership in the HPP industry by positioning ourselves to better serve existing and new customers,” he said. “It started with the development of new service programs designed to ensure customer performance requirements and maintenance goals; now that we have that in place, as well as our new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility up and running in Middletown, we’re proud to announce our plans to locate a new global headquarters in the Cincinnati area.”

Research and development

Williams said the relocated headquarters will be home to Avure’s innovation center. The facility will house an updated test kitchen, microbiology lab, HPP center, offices, and a learning pavilion for customers and prospects not familiar with the ins and outs of HPP technology.

The Cincinnati expansion is the latest in a number of Avure milestones in the past year. The company recently picked up Hormel Foods’ Spirit Excellence Award (given to favored company suppliers), and it opened an Avure HPP Parts Distribution Center in Amsterdam.
