The online site will offer resources in German, such as the latest product information and company news, for all of its German-speaking customers worldwide and to coincide with Interpack in Düsseldorf next month (May 8-14).
Russian, Arabic, Chinese
Shayne De la Force, group marketing manager, tna Australia, told FoodProductionDaily the next stage is launching a website in Russian, Arabic, Chinese and Japanese.
“tna has 26 offices around the world as we strongly believe in being local, acting global. It is very important for us to have people on the ground with our customers who speak their language and our new websites are an extension of that service,” he said.
“We launched a new English website mid last year, but since then, we have released an independent Spanish website (www.tnasolutions.com.mx), a French website (www.tnasolutions.fr) and we will be unveiling our German website in three weeks in time for Interpack 2014.
“Then after that, we will be releasing websites in Russian, Arabic, Chinese and Japanese.”
The revised English website includes company news, events, a blog product information such as the intelli-flav OMS 5 and the robag 3ci high-speed bagger. Technical white papers and product brochures can be downloaded on the site’s resource section.
Different needs
De la Force added many global companies have one website that is translated into multiple languages, but tna wanted individual sites for each language so it can have individual content for each region as they have slightly different needs and requirements.
“The other big difference to our websites is that it is not just about equipment specifications and benefits,” he said.
“Unfortunately, the majority of customers do not have access to a global view on the industry, complete turn-key products for an entire production line or various applications so our websites are just one of the many channels we use to share this information with our customers and the market.”
Michael Green, managing director, tna Australia, added, the company has plans to be as multilingual as possible in all customer interactions.
“For many years, tna has had multilingual operating software\HMI Panels on our equipment and our manuals, so it was a natural extension to adopt this approach in our direct sales\marketing communications and public information.”
tna plans to have a double-deck booth design at Interpack this year and will showcase products from seasoning and distribution, to weighing and bagging.
