Clondalkin Wentus launches skin tight film
The long shelf life and high barrier properties of the Wentopro-SkinTight film makes it suitable for fresh, frozen and processed meat, poultry, fish and sea food products, as well as cheese and ready meals.
Manufactured at the company’s site in Höxter, Germany the invisible film surrounds the product like a second skin, giving a natural look for shelf appeal, as well as providing a secure seal.
Christian Claes, new business development director, Clondalkin Wentus, said the product can seal any type of film and tray.
"It has an easy peel corner for consumer convenience and because of its long shelf life it helps retailers reduce waste and keep products fresh and looking attractive for longer," he said.
Wentus is an extrusion and integrated converting company offering mono, co-ex and multilayer barrier films, as well as cast polypropylene and fully biodegradable films.
