Sustainability will take center stage at an upcoming packaging webinar.
The big brand’s sustainability guru will share lessons during a webinar that food pros can use to optimize their packaging sustainability.

Presented by PAC NEXT, the sustainability-focused branch of the Packaging Association of Canada, the webinar will feature a panel of packaging and sustainability experts offering advice on ways packaging and product professionals can increase packaging sustainability in intelligent, effective ways.

Keith Fanta, section head of packaging sustainability for Procter & Gamble, will share case studies that offer a comprehensive overview of ways to improve packaging optimization. Hot topics include transportation, materials reduction, use of alternative materials, packaging design and end-of-life considerations.

Marina Pietrosel, director of technical services and optimization for Eco Enterprises Quebec, will weigh in on the importance of taking sustainability into account at the product and packaging design stage.

Also on the table: a design tool that helps stakeholders from packaging designers to top-level decisionmakers keep apprised of environmental issues and improvements.
