Bakery processing plant unveils Ultimix mixers
The mixers give bakers full control over the ratio, rotation speeds and power consumption of their products.
“The cake recipes now used by bakers are becoming increasingly complex and varied,” said Keith Stalker, MD, EPP.
“Precise control of the mixing process is essential so that batters with the exact amount of aeration can be consistently produced.”
The mixers have been launched in the UK by the Epsom-based European Process Plant.
“VMI has responded to the demands from the baking industry for a planetary mixer that not only provides this precise control but is versatile, compact and easy to clean,” added Stalker.
He said bakers know that in a planetary mixer the mixing or whipping tools rotate on their own axes and at the same time on common axes, which results in batters being quickly produced.
