Bride weds in plastic cup dress

Bride-to-beTracey Leahy, MD of Mannvend, vending machine supplier asked RPC Tedeco-Gizeh Kenfig to make a wedding dress out of plastic cups for her big day.

Tracey mentioned that she was getting married and threw me the challenge of making her a wedding dress from plastic cups. Of course the creative team at Kenfig embraced the idea and got to work on the design,” said David Lowe, GM, Kenfig.

We agreed if the dress could be produced then Tracey would wear it for part of her wedding day, in August. We are absolutely delighted with the result.”

Mannvend, based on the Isle of Man, UK, has a five-year contract with Kenfig to supply plastic cups.

I’m thrilled RPC Tedeco-Gizeh rose to the challenge and produced such a stylish dress. It just shows how versatile plastic cups can be,” said Leahy.
