Stock food packaging delivers shelf appeal

Plastic Ingenuity’s line of stock plastic food packaging offers food firms a balance of shelf appeal and flexibility.

The stock food pack products are tailored to meet evolving consumer interests and priority. The line consists of five sizes, sharing a universal lid but with various square and rectangular shapes.

Consumer appeal

According to Rob Helmke, marketing director for WI-based thermoformer Plastics Ingenuity, the products are intended to give food companies a safe, consumer-friendly stock option that appeals to shoppers.

Consumers today care about efficiency as much as style," he said. “These shapes fit better on shelves and in refrigerators, and because they're stackable and share a universal lid, they're easier to ship and store."

Safe features

Helmke added that the line features modular, contemporary shapes that combine aesthetic value and practicality. Among the safety-minded features: the packages are molded specifically to make them compatible with tamper-evident security measures and automated filling equipment.

Our goal with this line was to create something highly functional and deceptively simplistic,” he said. “Just like with our custom packaging, nothing is ever as simple as it seems.”

While the company offers stock packaging to food firms, it continues as a specialist in custom packaging products. These and other packaging products in its line can be custom-engraved with text, logos and other decoration.
