Dunkin’ Brands cashing in on Royal baby hype

Dunkin’ Brands has launched two products to cash in on celebrations surrounding the birth of the Royal baby.

The donut specialist has launched a donut under its Dunkin’ Donut brand and a cake under sister brand Baskin-Robbins.

The Royal Munchkin donut hole has been dipped in pink, blue and white – colors traditionally associated with new babies, the company said. The cake has been designed with baby shoe detailing and can be customized with ice cream and cake flavors.

In the UK, certain Baskin-Robbins restaurants will retail ‘Royal Baby signature ice cream cake’ priced at the weight of the new royal baby - £8.60 ($13.23).
