According to David Collins, North America director of prime papers for Avery Dennison, the line of labelling materials is geared toward customers looking to attract shoppers via high-end shelf presence.
“By integrating holographic label materials with standard packaging, products can attract consumers and impact their decision at the point of purchase,” he said.
Special effects
The film and paper materials in the line incorporates a multi-layered coating to refract light and create a variety of optical effects, including iridescent and prismatic visuals. A variety of colors and patterns are available.
The Select Solutions portfolio includes semi-conformable and squeezable label materials for a wide variety of containers. The used in the food, beverage, wine, spirits, home and personal care market segments.
Workable solution
In addition to their performance at shelf, materials in the holographic portfolio are designed to provide excellent converting and dispensing characteristics, according to the company. The company is offering the products with low minimum order quantities, day-of price quotations and four-day shipping.
The holographic group of labelling products is the first in the series to be released. The company plans to release other products over the next several months, including Reclosure, Security, and Food Safety and Promotion portfolios.
