company endeavors to use technology to help ensure accurate, efficient operation. To that end, it opted to use Datex FootPrint WMS, which includes special features and functionality for cold storage and third party logistics.
The Microsoft-based software includes temperature capture, the ability to restrict inventory to specific temperature zones; catch weight; track and trace inventory by Lot, vat code, SKU, UPC or ingredient. The third-party logistics billing capability includes the ability to charge accessorial fees from either a handheld or desktop computer and other features essential for cold storage warehouse operations.
