The show will run from April 23-25 in Brussels. The GEA Accujector Injection System features a needle pattern that is the most closely meshed of any on the market, according to GEA.
The machine can inject brine into delicate fish fillets and is designed to make minimal impression on products with skin. Cuts of fish can be immediately packed after injection or passed on to the next processing step. GEA Food Solutions claims the system can manage an hourly output of 500kg - 5,000kg.
100 packs a minute
In addition to this machine, the company will also be displaying its PowerPakXT Thermoformer, which has been created to hygienically pack fresh and deep frozen fish at a rate of up to 100 packs a minute. The equipment's modular design means it can be customised for different applications and it is also upgradable, said GEA Food Solutions.
Finally, the firm will be exhibiting its full range of Geneglace Containers for the mobile generation and storage of flake ice. They can be set up in areas of application with difficult access, such as harbours and bays.
GEA Food Solutions describes them as "mobile ice factories", with production capacity of between 150kg - 26,000kg a day, depending on the model. They can also provide 40kg of flake ice a minute thanks to an internal conveyor system, according to the business.
