Weetabix targets busy UK consumers with new breakfast biscuit

Weetabix has developed whole grain breakfast biscuits to target on-the-go, busy consumers.

The cereal brand’s ‘On The Go Breakfast Biscuits’ will be rolled out across major UK chains and convenience stores this month, starting today.

Ben Cooper, group brand manager at Weetabix said: “We know that on some days, for a variety of reasons, people just don’t make time for a traditional breakfast, and many of them aren’t happy snacking or not eating through to lunchtime. We wanted to provide the solution of a delicious biscuit that delivers whole grain Weetabix fuel and is better for you than those available.”

Cooper described the biscuits as “Weetabix Fuel on the go”.

The high fiber biscuits contain real whole grain Weetabix and are fortified with Niacin, Thiamin (B1), Riboflavin (B2), Folic Acid and Iron.

The biscuits will be available in single and multipacks and three flavors – Milk & Cereal, Apple with a hint of Cinnamon and Fruit & Fibre.
