Deal expands our end of line business, says Pearson

Pearson Packaging Systems has acquired Moen Industries and said it plans to grow the tray former product line by expanding the options available.

Pearson said the deal would expand their end-of-line solutions but did not disclose any financial details.

Michael A. Senske, president and CEO of Pearson Packaging Systems, will lead the company under the Pearson Packaging Systems name from the company's Spokane, Washington headquarters.

Senske said: "Moen Industries' patented tray former technology adds a new dimension to our current product portfolio, enabling us to offer the most complete range of integrated secondary packaging equipment available under one roof in the industry today.

“This provides buyers with the highest equipment effectiveness and the lowest total cost of ownership from streamlined products, service, parts and support."

Pearson Packaging Systems manufactures secondary packaging equipment for the food, beverage and pharmaceutical industries.

Moen Industries designs and manufactures corrugated Bliss box formers, tray formers, top sealers and top cap lidders.
