Bosch targets flexibility and speed at FachPack
Bosch Packaging Technology launched multiple machines for the food and drink industry designed to cater for manufacturers’ demand for speed and versatility at trade show FachPack 2012 in Nuremberg, Germany.

These included the PME 4061 mandrel wheel package maker, which allowed for the high format flexibility needed for point of sale differentiation by delivering a variety of pack styles.

In this exclusive podcast, Marcus Velezmoro, head of sales for sales package makers, focuses in greater detail on the thinking behind the launch of the machine, its unique features and capabilities.

“We see a trend in the market where smaller formats or bigger ones are needed to distinguish the manufacturers’ portfolio,” said Velezmoro.

He said Bosch, which had worked on developing the machine for two years, had secured the model’s first sales and was now in the process of rolling it out globally.
