Dow unveils business presidents

Dow Chemical Company has announced a new business structure aimed at accelerating speed to commercialisation.

The business presidents will focus on generating increased earnings, and accelerating the advancement and execution of Dow’s strategy within their businesses.

Diego Donoso, is the new business president for Polyethylene and Packaging, which includes polyethylene, specialty films, elastomers sold into packaging, adhesives and functional materials, PV films and the Licensing and Catalyst business will report to James R. Fitterling, executive vice president, with oversight of Feedstocks, Performance Plastics, Asia and Latin America.

“And in both Packaging and Elastomers…we will continue to drive forward on the strength of both businesses’ strong, complementary customer-centric innovation and operational excellence culture,” said Andrew N. Liveris, Dow’s chairman and CEO.

He added: “With less structure at the top of the company and more deployment and implementation in the markets, this is the optimal structure for the next phase of our strategy.”
