The transit packaging supplier says it is looking to increase capacity at its plant in Cheshire, UK in a bid to meet growing demand for its Euro Stacking range.
“Our central location at Winsford enables us to offer a locally manufactured product to the UK market – helping to reduce supply chain costs, carbon footprint and lead times to our customers in this country,” said Danilo Oliynik, commercial director at Linpac Allibert.
“We see this as a real success story for UK manufacturing at a time when industry as a whole has had to deal with exceptionally tough trading conditions.”
Available in almost 50 variants, minimal handling and waste are two benefits of Linpac’s Euro Stacking range, said the firm.
The modular, inter-stacking containers have vertical sides, which the Linpac said creates maximum internal volume.
According to a recent report by Applied Market Information (AMI), The Linpac Group is the fifth largest plastic producer by volume in Europe, with Australian-based Amcor leading the way with its injection moulding and film extrusion business.
