Noax Technologies said its new Robusto Forklift Truck is designed for in-house logistics and for weighing in hygienic environments.
Tougher food safety requirements, along with the pressure to reduce recalls has resulted in processors demanding higher equipment standards, from actual processing, to packaging and storage.
The Noax vehicle has a fork width of 21¼ in.
and fork length of 46.85 in.
The vehicle is made of electrolytic polished, stainless steel 1.4301 (304).
The hydraulic lift system is outfitted with soft damping and a quick-lift mechanism.
A waterproof stainless steel computer with heating system is located directly on the truck, for inputting, weighing and data processing.
The operator can also connect peripheral systems, such as a network card, readers, scanners, and printers.
Any acquired operational data can be sent directly to the material management system via the computer.
Bar-code labels can also be scanned and printed out on location.
"The tough industrial computer can be augmented with weighing modules of various manufacturers if desired," Noax claimed.
"The computer can even be delivered as a calibration-ready unit, if required."
As an option, the Robusto can also be outfitted with a ramming safety feature, lockable foot brake, tandem rollers, and stainless steel bearings.
Another option is an electro-walking forklift, with a top speed of about.
3.6 mph, and an integrated passenger platform.
"However, the uniqueness of the forklift truck is the make-up of the enclosure design for the highly efficient Akku Pack, which is the basis for inclusion of the mobile, in-house logistics and weighing units," the company claimed.
