Sanitary curved conveyor designed for small products

A new series of sanitary curved flat belt conveyors is designed to transfer small food productsas small as a penny, its manufacturer claims.

Dorner said its new Sanitary 7600 Series curved flat belt conveyor is designed to handle small products like cookies, pastries and othersnacks effectively and continuously around curves.

The conveyor's pinch roller drive is located away from the belt to prevent contamination of the products.The entire system can be disassembled for cleaning in 30 seconds without tools, Dorner claimed.

"These conveyors also feature a durable and consistent pinch roller drive, located away from the belt to prevent the contamination of food and other conveyedproducts," stated John Kuhnz, food marketing manager for Dorner's manufacturing unit.

The conveyors feature a 5/8 in. nosebar at both ends and are available in widths of 12in, 18in,25in, and 36 in. with curve angle configurations of 45°, 90°, and 180°.

They handle loads up to 150 lb and operate at speeds up to 173 feet per minute at the curve centerline.
