TNA to showcase new technologies at Interpack

TNA, a leading provider of packaging and distribution systems, is readying to demonstrate its latest integrated packaging lines at the forthcoming Interpack show.

The company says it will show all of its latest technologies, focusing particularly on the snack sector during the expo, held in Düsseldorf, Germany between 21st - 27th April.

Recently TNA says it has been using its experience and knowledge developed in the snacking sector to expand its range of equipment. The result of this is the new Robag 3 series of integrated VFFS systems that aim to efficiently pack other products such as fresh produce, confectionery and powders.

The Robag 3 incorporates a Rotary Double Jaw Stainless Steel machine, with a TNA 714 SW stainless steel scale, that has been designed for fresh produce such as salads and fresh vegetables. The system's Rotary Sealing Jaws include improved cross-seal strength and reliability as well as reduced product-in-seal rejects due to the patented Product Stripper/ Tube Closer assembly technology.

TNA will also debut the Robag 3 Rotary Triple Jaw machine, with a TNA 320 scale for the first time in Europe. This new triple jaw is said to have greater performance, with speeds in excess of 220 BPM, attributable to an integrated system and product transfer system. This offers a combination of high speed, high efficiency and low waste.

There is also the Robag 3 Rotary Flat Jaw, capable of packing large bags with a flat bag width range up to 420mm. This machine offers flexibility, being capable of producing string bags, Quattro-packs, gusseted bags, block bottom bags, Euroslot, hole burner and of course, pillow packs - all on the one machine.

The new Gate-less Roflo distribution system is said to eliminate product breakage and reduces maintenance and cleaning during the distribution process. The system's servo driven mechanics offers product control coupled with low force transfer and reliability, making the handling of a host of produce, particularly delicate items, easier and safer.

All of these equipment combination will be on display in Hall 17, Stand C15 at Interpack 2005 in Düsseldorf.
