Reimelt sees great potential in British baking
supply of powder handling systems for the food and ingredients
industries, has further strengthened its sales team to improve
response times to UK clients.
Reimelt (GmbH) UK Ltd, has responsibility for the sale and distribution of powder handling systems produced by its German parent company, and has strengthened UK and Ireland sales team with the appointment of Russell Davies, a chartered engineer with extensive experience of the automated bulk handling systems and process engineering on which Reimelt focuses.
Davies' appointment is part of a major sales offensive by the company in the UK, and he will bring with him a wealth of experience after working for a number of years with Reimelt in the US, at Tampa, Florida and with the parent company in Germany.
Davies will fill the position of Reimelt's technical sales manager for the UK and Ireland, believes that there is a market for quality handling systems in the British market for fresh-bake and extended shelf-life products and ingredients.
"After only a few weeks we have noticed a positive response in the marketplace to what we are offering. In the past we have concentrated only on certain areas of the UK food market and we are already in the process of changing this to ensure a wider commitment."
Reimelt's range includes powder conveying and ingredients batching systems, sour dough liquid fermentation systems and continuous mixing technology for both the bakery and allied industries.
