Fri-jado caters for all

Dutch food processing group Fri-jado is soon to release its newest
and most technologically advanced oven, the Multisserie, catering
for the bakery and meat industries.

The was designed with an eye for its in-store impact, with a clear perspex front allowing consumers to see what is baking or roasting.

The new oven has a similar capacity to its Euro Bake predecessor, the BS 10, which was designed specifically for bread baking and was capable of baking multiple trays of baguettes at high temperatures.

However, the Multisserie differs in that it is also capable of a combination of bread and meat products. The various trays provided with each unit also allow the heating of vegetables, which would suggest the oven would also be suitable for restaurant use.

The internal combination programmes of Multi-Bake, Multi-Steam, Multi-Grill and Multi-Regenerate make baking and cooking different foodstuffs at the same time simple and fast.

Automation is fast becoming the watchword among food processing machinery manufacturers, and the Multisserie is no different, with 64 computer programmable sequences.

The main advantage of the Multisserie is its fast baking time: the company claims that reductions of 50 per cent can be shaved off normal cooking times using insulation techniques and energy saving methods.

At 963mm in width, 1259mm in depth and 1090 in height, and weighing in at a mere 315 kg, the Multisserie is not the most compact oven on the market, nor is it particularly light or short, but it has a greater cooking capacity which makes it ideal for large scale applications.

Fri-jado Euro Products was founded in 1937. Since then, the Dutch company has grown into an international operating specialist in the development and production of equipment for preparing, storing and presenting food.
