Breakthrough Engineered Nutrition, a wholly owned subsidiary of US-based Innovative Companies, has launched CarbSlim Bites. The company says that the new bite-size product looks and tastes like regular confectionery, but contains no sugar and no net carbs.
Breakthrough claims that CarbSlim Bites are ideal for all low-carb diets as well as for diabetics. "If you close your eyes, you truly cannot distinguish CarbSlim Bites from real candy," said Nate Bernstein, Breakthrough`s sales and marketing vice president. "We`ve created a true guilt-free treat that will delight even the most avid candy lover."
The product is available in two flavours, caramel chocolate crunch and peanut butter crunch. The product is packaged in what the firm describes as a movie theatre box.

"Our partnership with GNC in the retail distribution of Lean Protein Bites and CarbSlim Bites has been an integral part of our recent accelerated growth," said Bernstein.
