A novel pasta vending machine is to be launched at Eu'Vend 2003, the exhibition that showcases innovations and developments within the dispensing industry. The new product, which is called Vera, has been designed to dispense the Very Italiano pasta line.
Vera was created through a joint venture consisting of Jofemar, a global player in the construction of vending machines and the Italian branch of LG-Electronics, a leader in the field of ovens and microwaves.
The manufacturers claim that the machine has the unique ability to recognise foods that need to be heated. In addition, they believe that the product can be both easily loaded by the company and simply operated by consumers.
In addition, Vera is capable of heating three products simultaneously thus avoiding long waits, especially during peak times. Very Italiano believes that the machine will prove highly popular in locations such as universities, schools, factories and airports.
Eu'Vend 2003, which takes place from the 11-13 September in Cologne, is the trade show that caters for the world of vending machines. A number of other innovations are set to be showcased at the event.
Vera is the latest addition to vending machines that cater for the Very Italiano pasta range. The company already owns four other patented vending machines. In addition to the launching of the vending machine, Very Italiano plans to introduce a franchising system.
