Iconotech, the manufacturer of digital case printers for corrugated shipping cases, has upgraded its company website to create improved interactivity for packaging specialist.

The US-based company's web site can be viewed at www.iconotech.com.

Iconotech says that the site is graphically enhanced with most of the pages displayed for minimal scroll down. Beginning with a visual demonstration of Iconotech's printing process, it progresses logically through quality comparisons of actual bar code samples, to product presentation with succinct application descriptions and machine specifications. The heart of the site concludes with cost calculators for comparing different coding and marking methods to Iconotech's process.

The company says that the its web site offers more than just a presentation of its product line, because the site highlights the major quality and cost factors of each industrial alternative for the coding and marking of corrugated shipping cases. Substantially amended from the old site are the interactive cost comparisons. By answering three simple questions about production levels, the new user-friendly comparisons allow viewers to compare labels, preprint or ink jet to the Iconotech digital case printing process. The programme calculates the operating cost of each and presents the viewer with the numerical data and rationale used to arrive at the results.

Also attached to the site (as a back end system) are newly updated and expanded cost calculators accessible by a dedicated web address. Through this expanded system, Iconotech specialists can work online with a prospect to perform a detailed cost analysis. This allows for a broader number of input variables applicable to each marking method.

Based in Connecticut, US, Iconotech's line of industrial purpose digital case printers prints detailed graphics, in-spec bar codes, and human readable text on corrugated shipping cases and multi-wall kraft bags.
