Name change for UK packager

Hayssen Packaging Technologies, a major manufacturer of vertical and horizontal flexible packaging systems, has renamed its Thetford UK facility 'Hayssen Europe Ltd.'

Hayssen Packaging Technologies, a major manufacturer of vertical and horizontal flexible packaging systems, has renamed its Thetford UK facility 'Hayssen Europe Ltd.'

The company said that the move was made to best reflect its product line and promote easier recognition for its European customers. With more than 2000 machines installed in Europe, Hayssen has built a significant customer base in the region.

"This name change from 'Barry-Wehmiller Europe' to 'Hayssen Europe' will enable our international customers to readily recognize us in the European marketplace," explained Dan Jones, president and CEO of Hayssen Packaging Technologies.

The Thetford facility has a staff dedicated to selling and supporting Hayssen's new and aftermarket product offerings, as well as providing support for other OEM equipment.

Dave Clark, regional director of Hayssen Europe, explained: "We are committed to providing the European market a broad portfolio of technology solutions and services that satisfy a wide range of budget requirements, and offer the convenience of a local point of contact for packaging automation needs."
