The newly launched PF 129-B 3-PieceBliss Former from Moen Industries assembles high strength corrugatedBliss boxes which, the company claims, saves packaging costs.

The PF 129-B comes equipped with threehoppers that are loadable from floor level, and also provides positive bodywrap positioning under the vertical mandrel, quick size change adjustments, and vacuum picking of all three box components.

The standard model usesMoen's M3-A pressurized hot melt glue system and reaches production speedsof up to 35 cases per minute.

Compared to standard RSC boxes, a 3-piece Bliss box with 2-inch internalflanges offers more compression strength using the same or less corrugatedmaterials. By increasing the board weight in end panels and keeping the bodywrap blank at the same weight, in most cases the Bliss design provides astronger box at less cost, the company claims.

The equipment can produce both internal flangebliss boxes and cut-corner internal flange bliss boxes. The quick sizechange adjustment gives the versatility to assemble boxes from 8 to 20inches (20 to 51 cm) long, 8 to 20 inches (20 to 51 cm) wide, and 4 to 14inches (10 to 36 cm) deep.

The PF 129-B includes an Allen Bradley control system with a colour touchscreen control panel/operator interface. A stainless steel paint finish andone year warranty are standard.
