Accraply has launched a new line of AccraSleeve Shrink Sleeve Applicators that are designed to provide fast, accurate and efficient operation in a compact footprint.

Accraply says the sleeve systems are versatile machines, capable of providing tamper evident banding, full body labelling or promotional bundle packaging for a wide variety of food and beverage products.

The AccraSleeve Shrink Sleeve systems utilise a "bullet" design combined with a rotary cutting platform, to achieve speeds in excess of 300 containers per minute. The AccraSleeve systems easily accommodate both standard and uniquely shaped containers and utilise PVC, PETG, and OPS materials. Stainless steel construction is said to promote greater sanitation, and electric operation eliminates the need for air or vacuum. Also, changeovers are quick and tool-free - the company claims.

The AccraSleeve can be integrated with existing equipment or combined with Accraply's new AccraLoc Heat Shrink Tunnel for a complete system. The AccraLoc heat tunnels provide greater energy efficiency and a safer, heat-free environment due to a true recirculating heat system. Each heat tunnel implements variable heating zones controlled by a digital controller that can store up to 99 product recipes.

Based in the US, Accraply is part of the global Barry-Wehmiller group of companies. The Group is focused on three platforms for growth - packaging equipment, consulting, and corrugated equipment. It has become a leader in these industries, with revenues approaching $430 million (€388m).
