Hemetek Techno Instruments is believed to be the only agent inIndia stocking spare parts for universal testing machines, and has decidedto extend a successful 'buy back' scheme this year, where customers canreplace old testing machines with new testingsystems from the company.

Hemetek already supplies Lloyd Instruments'​ single and twin column universaltesting machines (ranging from 2N to 300kN) as well as Davenport polymertesting instruments such as the melt flow indexer.

New launches include the latest version of the advanced Nexygen MT controlanalysis software package, the low force 1kN LFPlusuniversal test machine and the TAPlus food texture analyser - both of whichare modular in design.

In India, stocking spare parts can be expensive and very few suppliers ofmaterials testing machines calibrate using digital proving rings. Hemetek is soon expected to gain ISO 17025 accreditation formachine calibration and servicing.
